Built in 1817 near the river banks of the Ohio, in the metropolis of Madison, Indiana, as a Road House and store, its claim to fame among Indiana Masons is the Birthplace of their Grand Lodge on January 13, 1818. Nearing our 200th year as a Grand Lodge it is appropriate that each year the Grand Master make an official visit to our Grand Lodge's birthplace.
Grand Master Mark A. Genung made his visit on April 19, 2104. Past Grand Master George A, Ingles, Jr. was pleased to make his visit on April 21, 2013.
In commemoration of their visists limited edition coins were struck. These are the first two coins of what will be a six coin set. The example coins below are made available for a donation that will support the Masonic Heritage Foundation.
The first 10 have been reserved for display cases at different locations in conjunction with the celebration of our 200th Anniversary during the year from 2017 to 2018.
These coins are now available for $25 each or $45 for both by clicking one of the buttons below.
